Disclosure log
Our Freedom of Information Disclosure Log contains abstracts and associated documentation for all previous FOI Disclosures by NSS. It includes a comprehensive search facility.
Site search
Use the site search facility at the top of every page to search the entire NSS website.
Making an Information Request
If, after reviewing the information already available on the NSS website, you cannot find the information you require then you may need to submit a request for information. There are two ways of making a request:
- Use our online Information Request Form, or
- Email: NSS.Communications@nhs.net, or
- Phone: 0131 275 6665, or
- Write to us, including your name, address, telephone number and full details of the information you seek, to the address below:

Exemptions
In some situations, information may be withheld from the public. Such information is said to be exempt and this will include information that is about to be published, personal information covered by the Data Protection Act, or information that is not in the public interest to be made generally available. If we decide to withhold information, we will give reasons for our decision. If you are dissatisfied with our response you can ask us to review it, and if you are still dissatisfied you can appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner, who is responsible for enforcing the Act.
