The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is the specialist provider of transfusion medicine in Scotland, supplying high quality blood, tissues, products and services. SNBTS works with communities, hospitals and professionals to ensure that donations are used wisely and effectively for the benefit of patients. The division is also involved in innovative research into new products, technologies and services to improve the care for transfusion patients in NHS Scotland.
